Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry to Indonesia. Most visitors from outside ASEAN, including UK, US, EU and Australian passport holders, need an e-VOA (electronic visa on arrival) or a visa on arrival, valid for 30 days and extendable. Please check the requirements for your nationality at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before you travel.

Before you land, complete the All Indonesia digital arrival card at allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id. If you travel via Bali, you may also need to pay the Bali tourist levy (lovebali.baliprov.go.id).

For vaccination advice, please speak to your doctor or a travel clinic and see the TravelHealthPro Indonesia page. Malaria is present in Indonesia. Please seek advice from your doctor. Lariam is unsuitable for divers.

On a set date departure you book a cabin rather than the whole boat. Cabin prices are for two guests sharing, and single occupancy is 25% off the cabin price. A third guest can join only in a Superior cabin, at US$2,000 on 4-night and US$3,000 on 7-night sailings. Each sailing needs a minimum of two cabins booked. A 30% deposit is due to confirm your booking.
A second payment of 30% is due six months before departure.
The final 40% is due 60 days before departure.

Included: fuel, all meals and snacks, soft drinks and house beer, scuba diving (up to three dives a day) with all equipment, snorkelling and watersports equipment, laundry, and airport transfers on arrival and departure days.

Not included: marine park fees (US$150 per person), the optional all-inclusive drinks package of spirits, cocktails and house wines (US$60 per person per day, taken for the whole sailing), the optional WiFi package, PADI courses (PADI Open Water US$450 per person), flights, insurance and crew tips (optional; up to 10% of the charter or cabin rate is customary). Bar purchases on board are payable in cash in US dollars only.

Yes. Medical emergency and evacuation insurance is mandatory for every guest. Divers must also hold active dive insurance and bring their certification card and log book. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, weather disruption, watersports and diving. Dives are made at the divers’ own risk.

No. Tank fills are air only – nitrox is not available on board. Diving is included: up to three dives a day, with all equipment and guided dives.

Upon arrival, there is a safety briefing to acquaint everyone with the boat.  She is equipped with GPS chart plotters, radar, AIS, VHF and HF/SSB radio, a depth sounder, an EPIRB, 2 life-rafts, lifejackets, life-ring buoys, a first aid kit and oxygen.

Yes. Fishing is not permitted in any national park, and motorised watersports are not permitted inside Komodo National Park.

The on-board generator runs 24 hours a day. Sockets are two-pin, 220 volts (round pins). As well as sockets in the cabins, there is a charging station upstairs for cameras, to avoid condensation from the air-conditioning.

Crew tips are welcome but not obligatory. If you wish to show your appreciation a tip of up to 10% of the charter/cabin rate is suggested.

The sound system onboard works with a standard headphones jack, so all you need to bring is your smartphone, laptop or iPod.

Our complimentary toiletries are phosphate-free and water based, to have minimal impact on the environment : soap, conditioning shampoo and shower gel, cucumber and aloe vera lotion. Our coconut-based suncream is factor 50.

There is a washer / dryer on board.  Laundry service is complimentary.

There is an intermittent cellular service throughout the Komodo National Park as well as close to Sorong and Ambon.  Elsewhere it is weak or non-existent. Whilst on board, we provide a satellite telephone for your personal use, which is charged at $2 per minute – it is only switched on to make outgoing calls or receive pre-arranged incoming calls. +882 16 7602 9368

Tiger Blue has Starlink satellite internet on board, available with our optional WiFi package. Mobile signal is intermittent in the Komodo National Park and around Sorong, and weak or non-existent elsewhere. For those wishing to purchase a local SIM card rather than using roaming, we recommend Telkomsel.
