Komodo Islands: Content 3
Where are the Komodo Islands? The Komodo Islands are between the huge islands of Sumbawa & Flores. From Bali you fly east over the islands of Lombok, Sumbawa, then Flores. You enter the UNESCO World heritage Site of the Komodo Islands through Labuan Bajo on the western tip of Flores. Flights are direct from Bali, only 40 minutes. Once landed in Labuan Bajo, you are met & then it's only a 30 minute drive to harbour & onto Tiger Blue. We immediately sail out of harbour & straight into the Komodo National Park over lunch, allowing guest to set themselves on a beautiful beach for sunset.
An ideal holiday would be to fly into Bali, overnight for the early morning flight to Labuan Bajo. Enjoy looking for dragons on Komodo then fly back to Bali for a few days to get over the culture shock of being back in civilisation! Its a great combination.
Alternatively let Tiger Blue take you on an extended voyage that combines the Komodo Islands with Sumba Island. We can customise a great 2 week adventure for you in these locations.
